Do you remember hearing about the doves that are supposed to take flight?

Do you remember the calm morning song that overrides all of your problems, whenever you think of that special someone?

Do you remember the birds, the flowery fields and sunshine? Do you remember the music that's supposed to be born, whenever you fall in love?

Well, kids, I'm here to tell you something. All of that really does come to life.

I once turned a deaf ear to the delightful, merry birdsong that accompanies equally merry couples. I was once blind to the colors of the rainbow, a gift that shines in the wake of a devastating storm. I once knew nothing of a rose's melody. The calm yet vibrant gift, given to the other half of one's heart.

For far too long, I frowned upon the notions commonly associated with love. Was it really possible to while the hours away, simply thinking of someone's eyes? Was it really possible to find yourself romping through flowery fields, simply because of an attachment to another human being?

While I'm not exactly prancing through fields of daisies, I find myself saying 'yes' to all of the above.

It happened on the Night of Angels, where Heaven's forces collaborated to create a bewitching spectacle of stars.

My sister and I were forced to tolerate the others in close proximity, but his presence made the night much easier to endure. At first I was merely enthralled by his confidence, which rises higher than an eagle could ever soar.

His amber eyes conveyed unbreakable, awe-inspiring cockiness. It was the kind of self-esteem no other human could ever wear. And that alluring virtuosity was attached to the warmth he was so notorious for. The vast warmth that defies the wealth of even the richest man in history.

Time's passage drew my attention to other things. Not only was he able to tolerate Glitch, whom I'd still like to swat with a flyswatter, but he lit up every room he walked into. Far brighter than every star in the night sky, his radiance showered all unworthy souls in divinity.

Attempting to comprehend such light leaves me breathless.

He tolerates all, giving them the warmth they know and love. He is the world's security blanket, draping every annoying beast in the sanctity of unbreakable happiness. He is divinity in human form, given the body of a male and bearing the name 'Mo'.

A pre-requisite to getting closer to Mo was this: befriending Glitch.

It might have been an excruciating process back then, because I would've preferred pulling my own teeth out to spending even a second with that runt, but...

I have to admit, he has grown on me. But I'd still like to swat him with a flyswatter.

Nevertheless, the embodiment of divinity wished for me to close the gap between myself and his protege. I promptly did so, preferring Mo's company over meaningless eternity. It was difficult to find common ground with someone so infatuated with Kingdom Hearts, Yu-Gi-Oh and comic books, but-

He now looks at me with the eyes of a liberated newborn.

Disorienting, yes, but I do not complain. And why would I?

I've made the personification of beauty happy.

Whenever I state the truth about his eyes, his physique and his rhythm, he eyes me in an odd fashion.

As if I really said something foreign. Is it not every human's duty to honor such a creature? Is it really that odd to acknowledge his eyes as the amber paragons of luminescence? Is it really that strange to speak of how his laugh defeats even the most sacred of hymns?

Ah. Either the angel really is oblivious to the light of his being, or he has just been brainwashed to ignore the obvious. Humans really are loathsome creatures.

My sister and I are the exception.

His language mystifies me.

Los Angeles was never my home at one point. My sister and I were settled in the grace of Paris, France. So of course Mo's dialect differs from mine.

It is a bewitching dialect. One that compels me to think of great explorers, and how they discovered ancient cultures.

Our styles of dance are different. He shares comic books with Glitch, while I can recite the name of every classic written. From the vast libraries of America and Europe. But regardless of our differences-

I am airborne on a daily basis.

To touch him is to touch the realm of light, where all is well.

He does not shy away from my touch, giving me the kindness he bestows upon all others.

He absorbs my attention as a flower absorbs water, and returns my affection.

For that, I am infinitely grateful. I have been blessed with enough sense and charisma to win over the one that fell from Heaven.

Heed my words. If you have never before fallen in love, think of my story.

No one can escape love's soft hand.

-Kerith

He found it increasingly difficult to stay awake.

Luckily, the movie eventually reached its end. All movie-goers quickly piled outside, sharing their thoughts on an epic journey. The members of the Dance Central Squad were no different, riding high on Cloud Nine. However, it didn't take long for them to realize one moviegoer wasn't the least bit interested in Anakin Skywalker, Padme or the Jedi Order.

Hands balled into fists, Jaryn's brother was rubbing his eyes. He never had any intention of coming off as 'adorable', but on many occasions he made himself out to be just that. That particular occasion was another point to his scoreboard. While a certain B-Boy beamed at him, Glitch tugged on Kerith's sleeve.

"Aw, ya didn't hafta t' come along! Knew it wasn't yer thing!"

As always, Jaryn kept a firm, silent watch on her other half. Her observations, as of late, were of great interest. Her brother had gone through a colorful range of emotions-happiness, frustration, confusion, concern. All of which were laced-

In the love between a B-Boy and an ex-mime.

Just as he opened his mouth to respond, Bodie jumped in. Never wanting anyone to be uncomfortable, he realized Jaryn's sibling might not have been happy with his mental absence. "Well, you can at least say you tried," the gentle lifeguard said, hands clamped onto Glitch's shoulders. His laughter was nervous but warm, as he tried to figure out a way to lighten Kerith's guilt.

"You still were a witness to one of the greatest cinematic adventures in history."

"Listen," the silver-haired dancer snarled, sending frustration and shyness into a collaboration. "I'm sure the film was an enthralling escapade of sight and sound. A mesmerizing cascade of emotion. But I wasn't interested in following the adventures of a whiny, good-for-nothing brat, who wanted nothing more than to annoy every living creature in the entire universe. Truth be told, I found something much more interesting."

With the exception of Mo, who was wreathed in silent smiles, everyone sent a collective "What?" into the air. Kerith answered as if he had been asked to solve the easiest equation, but his eyes were reverent. Warm, bearing an acknowledgement of a sacred living being.

"Mo."

...

"My apologies to George Lucas. However, I was able to pinpoint something of particular interest. Darth Maul's makeup."

"Oh helllllllll no, baby," an Alomar whined, tugging on Kerith's black sleeve. On went the puppy eyes, an extra-special technique given to him by the legendary Glitch.

"Please don't tell me yer thinkin' of hittin' that up!"

"Of course not," the Glitteratti male scowled, folding his arms. "I would rather die by fire than scar my face with so many horns. I would become something unrecognizable and frightening to you. And here's something else I managed to pick up. Jar Jar Binks reminded me very much of Glitch."

While the others burst into warm, harmless laughter, Glitch burst into fumes. "What the deal-lio, man?! Why I gotta be th' annoyin' tag-a-long? Couldn't you have pegged me as a Jedi or somethin'?!"

"Why no, and sadly, you aren't even smart enough to understand your own words. Did you not hear yourself speak the words 'tag-a-long'?"

"Screw you! Yer jus' jealous of my mad-hot swag, man!"

"Now that I think of it, you DO remind me of Anakin! Every word I tied to him can be tied directly to YOU, as your only purpose is to drive everyone around you INSANE!"

Thus began another wrestling match, between the younger half of Hi-Def and the other half of Jaryn's heart. While her brother tangled with Mo's protege, Jaryn quietly clapped her hands. "How wonderful to see he has a playmate," she purred to Emilia, who nodded in agreement.

Nearby, Mo continued to smile.

Kerith, for the very first time, has fallen head-over-heels in love. One of the other dancers managed to catch his eyes, and there's no turning back from the love that follows. The lone wolf becomes an integral part of the Dance Central family, while he worships the ground Mo walks on.
